Ceramic Coating: The Ultimate Upgrade For Your Vehicle

Lock in a deep gloss and make washes way easier with a pro-applied ceramic coating that’s built for London’s road grime and winter salt. We prep the paint properly, correct what needs fixing, then coat it so your finish stays sharper for longer.

If you’re tired of your paint looking great for one day and “meh” the next, ceramic coating is the upgrade that actually changes ownership. We apply a durable coating that bonds to your paint and helps it stay glossier, cleaner, and easier to wash, especially through London’s salt, slush, and road grime seasons.

But here’s the part most shops skip: prep. We don’t just coat over swirls and haze. We correct the paint first, so you’re protecting a finish you’re proud of, not sealing in defects. Whether you want a one-year boost or long-term protection, we’ll match you with the right package and make sure the results look as good as they perform.

Benefits of Ceramic Coating

Easier Washes (and Less “Stuck-On” Grime)

Coating doesn’t stop your car from getting dirty, but it makes it a lot harder for grime to bond to the paint. That means quicker washes, less aggressive scrubbing, and a vehicle that cleans up fast even after messy weather.

A Deeper, Cleaner Gloss That Lasts

When we correct the paint and coat it properly, you get that crisp reflection and slick finish that holds up longer than a typical shine product. It’s the difference between looking freshly detailed for a weekend and looking consistently sharp month after month.

Real-World Protection for London Conditions

Road salt, slush, bug splatter, and summer fallout can wear down unprotected paint fast. Ceramic coating adds a tougher barrier on top of the clear coat so your finish stays stronger through the seasons and your paint doesn’t feel like it’s constantly under attack.

Adds Value Without Adding Hassle

If you care about resale, coating helps your paint stay in better shape, which shows up in photos and in person. If you plan to keep your vehicle, it’s even better, because your maintenance gets easier and your finish stays dialed in with less effort.

Ceramic Coating vs. Wax: What’s the Difference?

Wax: Temporary Gloss Solution

Wax is a short-term shine and protection option. It can look great right after application, giving you that warm gloss and slick feel, but it doesn’t hold up for long, especially if you wash often, park outside, or drive through London’s messy seasons. Think of wax as a “quick refresh” that helps water bead and boosts shine for a little while, but you’ll need to reapply it regularly to keep the same look and protection. If you want a simple upgrade before an event or you just like the idea of a periodic touch-up, wax is a solid move.

Ceramic Coating: Durable, Long-Term Application

Ceramic coating is a longer-term upgrade designed for drivers who want their vehicle to stay sharper with less effort. It bonds to the paint, creating a tougher, more durable shield that holds its gloss and makes it harder for road film and grime to stick. That means quicker, safer washes, less scrubbing, and a finish that stays more consistent week to week, not just right after a detail. If you want real longevity and that “maintain it, don’t chase it” experience, ceramic coating is the option that makes the most sense.

Ceramic Coating FAQ

  • How do you choose the right coating package?

Start with how long you want protection and how picky you are about the finish. If you want a strong upgrade without a long turnaround, our 1-year package fits most daily drivers. If you want a bigger visual transformation and longer coverage, step up to 3 or 5 years. If you want maximum long-term protection, we’ll walk you through the 10-year option and what the warranty covers.

  • Do you really need paint correction first?

For the best results, we always start with paint correction. Ceramic coating locks in whatever the paint looks like on install day. We correct the paint first, so you protect a clean, glossy finish, not swirls and haze.

  • How long will you be without your vehicle?

Most coating packages take 1–2 days, depending on the level of correction and the condition of the paint. When you book, we’ll give you a clear timeline so you can plan around it.

  • Can you wash your car normally after coating?

Yes, but you’ll want to wash smarter. Skip automatic brushes and use gentle products and safe methods. If you want, we’ll give you quick maintenance tips so you don’t accidentally dull the finish.

  • Will ceramic coating stop rock chips and scratches?

It helps protect against environmental wear and makes cleaning easier, but it won’t replace PPF for chip protection. If you drive a lot of highway or want true impact protection, we’ll recommend PPF for the front end.

  • Do you coat wheels too?

Our 10-year package includes wheel faces only. If you want wheel protection on another package, ask us, and we’ll quote it based on your setup.
